This past week I had a shoot with Sharp Magazine. The job was to shoot an interview with a Canadian tastemaker over a Peroni. The tastemaker in this instance was Pacifika, a Vancouver based band with a really unique world sound. The shoot took place on the outdoor patio of Malaparte at the TIFF Bell Lightbox where Peroni held an event that included a performance by the band.

The spread in the magazine will only consist of one main photo and possibly one performance shot. While the Art Director will make the final call this is my favorite group shot. For those who are curious the reason this photo is in black and white is because that’s how it will be printed in the magazine. The article will be featured in Sharp’s September issue.
